    Responsibilities

    The Product Training Developer creates and implements internal and client-facing training materials (training documents, training courses, interactive video tutorials, etc.) that support ACT products and services.

     

    Typical work-related activities include:

    • Research, design and manage the production of training materials and associated documentation using various multi-media channels including digital and paper-based.
    • Manage internal and external placement of client-facing training and support materials;
    • Research and implement best practices and innovative approaches to creating learning resources;
    • Collect and analyze client and internal training satisfaction data and use that to inform and implement changes that improve product consumption and satisfaction metrics
    • Assist with training internal team members and clients as needed

    Qualifications

    Education: 

    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in education, instructional design or business administration
    • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired

     Experience:

    • A minimum of 2 years of related experience required which includes the development/preparation of training materials and working with various training methodologies, learning tools, and practices
    • Experience working collaboratively as part of a team to create training content with a focus on the end user experience required
    • Video production experience required
    • Proficient with the following technologies: Captivate, Audacity, and various Adobe applications, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Sharepoint required 

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent communication skills, orally and in writing
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
    • Ability to learn and maintain detailed knowledge of products and services
