    The Lead SharePoint Engineer is responsible for designing solutions to support ACT’s Intranet site and automating internal processes using SharePoint online platform. This role will also engage in providing SharePoint Administrator support for Internal and External SharePoint sites. Responsibilities also include a strong understanding of the Microsoft O365 platform and the various applications that are being delivered through the O365 platform.




    Typical work-related activities include:

    • Independently design, create, maintain and enhance solutions with reusable components that can be leveraged by multiple teams.
    • Collaborate with scrum team to support all SDLC activities. This includes activity in consideration of product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance, as well as leveraging static code analysis tools, and how we support production monitoring.
    • Actively participate in process improvement and technology selection discussions and decisions within area of expertise. Recommend tools and standards to ensure software quality and performance standards.
    • Actively participate in team success through mentoring, coaching and advising other team members; support junior team members to proactively anticipate and resolve issues across scrum teams
    • Lead and participate in design / architectural discussions, grooming user stories, sprint demos, and daily scrums to help establish a Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) approach. Recommend product, infrastructure, or design changes to ensure quality and performance standards.
    • Engage with Vendors supporting our ACT’s SharePoint / O365 environment on a Quarterly basis to understand their product Roadmaps and design a timeline to implement them.
    • Actively Collaborate with our Vendors in planning and scheduling of Product Workshops with ACT team members.



    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Information Systems
    • Excellent knowledge in understanding various features available in Microsoft SharePoint Online / Office 365
    • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired



    • A minimum of 7 years of progressive IT experience
    • Experience creating Intranet Sites using SharePoint Modern Experience.
    • Experience helping Business users understand capabilities available delivered through O365 Apps.
    • Experience in SharePoint Online/O365, SharePoint Framework, SharePoint Workflow Development, SharePoint Admin / User Support, SharePoint Designer, Nintex Forms and Workflow for O365 and Sharegate.
    • Experience in Agile Methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent knowledge and understanding of features available in Microsoft SharePoint Online/Office 365
    • Strong knowledge of Nintex Forms and Workflows, MS Forms and Flows to drive Business Process Automation
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes.
    • Ability to keep up with new applications and capabilities released as part of the O365 Roadmap and be a point of contact for Business users to understand these capabilities.
    • Knowledge of enterprise integration strategies and technologies.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to technical issues required
    • Demonstrated ability to support, mentor, coach and advise other team members required.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead technical professionals and influence product stakeholders required
    • Results-oriented and able to work across the organization required
    • Expertise in Business Intelligence tools to report on SharePoint Analytics
