    Responsibilities

    The Program Manager II is responsible for managing internal and external resources necessary to ensure operational contract deliverables are fulfilled for state and/or district contracts. This role provides guidance and resource management for the work activities and priorities of the Operational Contract Fulfillment team.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    Typical work-related activities include:

    • Develop and maintain knowledge of product operational deliverable details necessary to articulate processes to clients.
    • Ensure required contract deliverables are fulfilled for assigned contracts.
    • Lead weekly project coordinator meetings and other project meetings as assigned, ensuring all agenda items are brought to resolution, and decisions communicated to all appropriate areas.
    • Serve as team lead in product discussions lead by Product Operations Management team.
    • Serve as the primary liaison to the Implementation Services team, ensuring state and district agreed to client training and communication deliverables are fulfilled for all assigned contracts.
    • Review, recommend and implement project coordinator training needs.
    • Serve as an active member of the product incident response team, including engagement in the development and implementation of a communication plan.
    • Identify, and lead, continuous improvement activities related to systems, processes, and/or procedures.
    • Embrace and foster a collaborative environment across Supply Chain Operations to address escalated concerns in a timely manner.
    • May represent ACT in public forms, conferences with clients, including participation in client meetings as the operational subject matter expert.

     

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

     

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business administration
    • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired

     

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 3 years of related project management or contract fulfillment experience required
    • Experience utilizing technology and/or systems in the fulfillment of contract deliverables required. Examples include but are not limited to Microsoft Office suite, Salesforce.com, MS Project Schedule or other assessment delivery systems
    • Experience managing customer deliverables required; assessment experience preferred
    • Previous experience leading, managing, and building teams preferred

     

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to prioritize and organize customer requirements and associated delivery schedules to ensure contract compliance
    • Ability to positively interact with customers
    • Ability to research and work through complex problems, analyze options and design effective solutions.
    • Comfortable working independently, collaboratively as part of a team, and with changing priorities.Customer focused, keeping customer experience and value in mind at all times
    • Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills
    • ability to understand relationship between complex contract requirements and meeting contract deliverables on time and with quality
    • Good project management skills, including being able to create project schedules with detailed tasks
    • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions
    • Highly self-motivated and proven ability to take initiative
    • Expertise in continuous improvement, such as Lean, preferred
    • ability to serve as a resource for others, providing guidance and feedback related to work responsibilities, including how the work is done
