    The Sr. Vendor Relationship Manager is responsible for managing key vendor engagements; serves as the lead liaison between internal cross-functional areas, ACT Legal and vendors; interprets and clarifies internal and external business requirements and facilitates the interaction with ACT team members and vendors to optimize solutions with vendors.


    Typical work-related activities include:

    • Establish and manage vendor relationships with a high degree of expertise and in accordance with ACT Sourcing & Procurement Policy and Standard Operating Procedures
    • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional ACT team members and with vendors, including tracking, resolving, documenting and archiving issues and managing the escalation process of vendor issues and disputes
    • Participate in or leads the evaluation of vendors and in the negotiations of new and existing agreements with vendors and makes recommendations in support of the business.
    • Develop, prepare and analyze documentation, data, metrics, artifacts, and reports; Analyzes data to drive continual improvements
    • Provide insights and guidance to the business.
    • Evaluate potential vendors and works closely with business leadership to identify, conduct and evaluate performance trends.


    Minimum Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s degree in a related area required; preferably in business or supply chain management
    • Lean certification preferred
    • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.



      • A minimum of 5 years of experience that includes progressively responsible sourcing, supply chain, procurement and/or vendor relationship management related experience
      • Experience leading projects and initiatives
      • Experience with data analytics preferred
    • Supplier diversity experience preferred
    • Experience leading projects and initiatives and requires the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
