    Responsible for financial support throughout ACT including budgeting and forecasting. Creating and providing financial analysis, reports and recommendations to business partners. This role will be the financial point of contact for internal ACT partners and must have a customer centric approach while being comfortable communicating financials

    Typical work-related activities include:

    • Lead the corporate budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
    • Be the financial point of contact for designated business partners
    • Perform cost and price analysis in support of products.
    • Respond to area, department and program requests for analysis or reports.
    • Analyze and articulate financial variances to budget and prior year
    • Identify and quantify financial risks and opportunities
    • Work with customer feedback data, analyze results, and provide appropriate recommendations to leaders.
    • Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions regarding departmental projects
    • Promote the mission, vision, and strategic goals of ACT.
    • Maintain goals and progress toward goals in ACT talent management systems.



    • Bachelor’s degree in a related area; preferably in accounting or finance
    • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired



    • A minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience, including budgeting and forecasting
    • CPA/MBA desirable
    • Previous experience and demonstrated success working as part of a finance team.



    • Ability to create budgets and forecasts
    • Financial modeling using various inputs and techniques
    • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
    • Proficiency with Excel is critical. Proficiency with Word and PowerPoint a plus
    • Ability to read and interpret complex written material and make judgements
    • Ability to produce reports/recommendations of high quality and that include information that is consumable by the intended audience (i.e., business area, Finance leadership, Board of Directors).
    • Ability to manage, organize and prioritize work.
    • Ability to work independently, as part of a team and across the organization.
    • Good communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with team and members in the business areas, keeping customer centric focus
    • Ability to determine logical solutions to complicated problems.
    • Ability to learn and utilize complex software applications with little or no instruction.
    • Creative and accurate problem solving skills, frequently in a time sensitive environment.
    • Ability to be flexible and work effectively under pressure and with tight timelines.
    • Detail oriented, and self-motivated team player, with desire to learn are important
