 The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for developing ACT’s next generation applications and products.  ACT utilizes AngularJS and modern JavaScript frameworks and tools for the front end services as well as MySQL and Mongo for backend services plus git for source control and Jenkins for builds. 


Typical work-related activities include:

  • Design, maintain, and enhance full stack solutions leveraged both internally and externally
  • Develop reusable components that can be leveraged by multiple teams for standard tasks (workflows, role/group assignment, site administration, etc.)
  • Plan, research, and coordinate work including assisting with testing, releases, and maintenance
  • Lead team members though the entire SDLC process



  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related area required, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Information Systems
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired



  • Minimum of eight years of progressive IT experience
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment required
  • Experience working at a software product company a plus
  • Experience with AWS solutions preferred



  • Strong understanding of the AngularJS framework & Java
  • Strong knowledge of how to build and work with RESTful API's
  • Strong knowledge of version control
  • Database skills in a relational database
  • Ability to work as part of a Scrum team, following standard Agile practices
  • Very strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Results-oriented and able to work across the organization
  • Should be comfortable working in a rapidly transforming organization
